I am an artist and facilitator with an academic background in linguistics and semiotics.
My practice combines my interest for visual art, humanities, and technology, resulting in parallel and complementary lines of work.
I use traditional and digital media to document and interpret people's experiences in various group settings, such as workplaces and learning environments. Past work includes projects with LGBTQ+ communities, neurodivergent children and adults, migrants, inmates, fostered young people, the elderly, sexual abuse/human trafficking survivors, and people living with HIV.
In parallel, my studio practice is focused on drawing, as both a creative and cognitive process.
As part of the DYCP (Developing Your Creative Practice) program by the Arts Council England, I’m currently researching, developing and testing new ways to make engaged work by integrating computational methodologies and techniques into my practice, in order to open up new horizons for interdisciplinary collaboration and engagement through creativity.
